Updated 15 October 2026. This notice covers the SlimSnap website and its manual browser diary. The existing iPhone app has a separate app privacy policy.

Your browser diary

Meal names, dates, calories and macro values are stored in this browser's local storage. The diary code does not send those entries to our server or the iPhone app. There is no account or cloud backup. Anyone with access to this browser profile may be able to read them. Clearing browser data can erase them.

Use “Export all meals” for a CSV copy or “Clear diary” to remove the saved meals from this browser. These actions do not change any records in the iPhone app.

Website requests and advertising

The host receives standard requests such as your IP address, browser information and requested page. MagicAds supplies the banner and receives technical information such as the page URL, placement and browser/device details to serve ads and measure views and clicks. Diary fields are not included in ad requests. Do not put personal information into the page URL. Advertising links take you to other websites with their own privacy practices.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the request and standard network information. Apple receives information when you follow the App Store link. This website has no mailing list, payment form or photo upload.
